Bears to School is proud to welcome the Chief of the Royal Australian Air Force as a supporter.

Air Marshall Leo Davies, whose career in the RAAF spans 39 years, remarked “I am proud to support the Bears to School program which is an excellent learning initiative … The stories told through these bears, such as the Australian Flying Corps Bear, assist the next generation to better understand and appreciate the Australian involvement in WWI in an interactive and interesting way”

Air Marshall Davies encouraged the community to become involved and donate a bear to their local school through AnzacBears.com.au.

“As a community we have a responsibility to keep the memories of our service men and women alive and we can do that, through school and community based programs such as the Bears to School initiative.”

He joins the Chief of Defence, General Angus Campbell, as the latest Defence leader to support the Bears to School initiative.
